Dungeon and Dragons RPG Help?

Im buying yugioh cards from toywiz, but I have noticed that they sell D&D Stuff, which I have always wanted to try out. I have never played before, so I want to know what set to buy, and what books and other things as well. I don't have a big budget so please don't say to buy more than 2 books please. 1. Just start with the Player's Handbook and a set of dice. Eventually they will get around to releasing a starter set that has everything you need to learn the basic game without spending a lot of money... Read through the PHB until you are comfortable with it, and make a few characters to get a feel for the game. And try to find an experienced group (who should already have the rest of the core books) to play with. Eventually you will want the whole core set, if you ever want to DM...but if you only plan to play, PHB is all you need.
2. I just wanted to say that Wizards of the Coast has already released a starter set for D&D 4th edition. It icludes dice, tokens for characters and monsters, floor plans, details of starting levels for 4 characters and 1 or 2 adventures to play through as I understand..
